  Thallus pale fawn, smooth, dull. Ascomata inconspicuous, pale orange-brown, scattered, initially fissurine, becoming slightly raised, simple, straight, curved or sinuous, rarely branched, 1–2 mm long, 0.1–0.2 mm wide; lips closed. Proper exciple non-carbonised, pale orange-brown. Hymenium 80–100 µm thick, I–. Ascospores 8 per ascus, transversely septate, 9–12-locular, 30–40 × 6–8 µm, I+ blue.
CHEMISTRY: No lichen compounds detected.
     
  This inconspicuous and very rare corticolous species is known from one locality in northern W.A.; also in Brazil and Mexico.
